Effective August 2026. These terms govern your use of triffy for company formation, registered agent, and compliance services.
By creating an account or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms. If you are using triffy on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company.
triffy prepares and submits formation filings, registered agent service, and related compliance filings based on the information you provide. Processing times are set by state agencies and the IRS, not by us, and can vary — we share estimated timelines but cannot guarantee a specific completion date.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the company name, ownership details, and other information you submit. Filings rejected or delayed due to inaccurate information you provided are not covered by our timeline estimates.
Where you've selected registered agent service, we accept official state and legal mail on your company's behalf and notify you the same day it arrives. This service covers your formation state's official correspondence — it is not a mailing address for banking, marketing, or personal mail unless stated otherwise in your plan.
Plan pricing is shown at checkout and on our pricing page. State filing fees, franchise taxes, and similar government charges are separate from your triffy subscription and are your responsibility in addition to it.
Subscriptions renew automatically each year unless canceled beforehand. If we have not yet begun your state filing, you can request a full refund; once a filing has been submitted to a state agency, filing fees already paid to that agency are non-refundable.
triffy helps you complete filings — it does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Decisions like entity type, ownership structure, and tax elections can have consequences specific to your situation, and we encourage you to consult a qualified professional before making them.
You agree not to use triffy to:
The platform is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, triffy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Canceling your plan does not cancel your company with the state — you remain responsible for any filings, taxes, or registered agent coverage required to keep it in good standing.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We'll notify account holders by email at least 10 days before a material change to these terms takes effect.
